A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF CANTON FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY 2015.
WHEREAS,the City of Canton, acting through its council and with the approval of the mayor,
establishes for the fiscal year, the rates of compensation for the various city employees,and;
WHEREAS,the fiscal year beginning May 1,2014 expired April 30, 2015 and it is necessary to
establish rates for the ensuing fiscal year, and;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the rates of compensation for the fiscal year beginning May 2015 for the various
department heads,superintendants,full-time appointive employees, part-time appointive
employees and any and all employees referenced in Exhibit A(attached hereto and
incorporation herein) are to be effective as of and retroactive to and inclusive of the date of
May 1, 2015. Said salaries are in addition to the other entitlements normally and customarily
extended to each such employee.
2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the City
Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof this 5th day
of May 2015 upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen West, Putrich, Mayhew, Ellis, Lovell, Hale
NAYS: Alderman Justin Nelson
ABSENT: Alderman Jim Nelson
