AN ORDINANCE
Rezoning certain property of Phillip Wright and Tad J.
Putrich, Contract Purchasers, and David Raudabaugh,
Owner, on Linn Street in the City of Canton, Illinois.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is located
within the corporate limits of the City of Canton, Illinois; and is
currently zoned in an R-2 zoning configuration; and
IT FURTHER APPEARING to said City Council that a Petition for
Rezoning has been filed by the Petitioners, Phillip Wright and Tad
J. Putrich (Purchasers) and David Raudabaugh (Owner), to rezone the
property hereinafter described to a B-2 zoning configuration; and
IT FURTHER APPEARING to said City Council that a public
hearing was conducted by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Canton, Illinois, in accordance with the laws of this State
and the ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois, on the 13th day
of November, 1995, and said Planning and Zoning Commission
recommended that the property hereinafter described be rezoned from
an R-2 zoning configuration to a B-2 zoning configuration;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory described as follows:

Lots 1 and 4, Block 2, A.J. Whitnah's Addition
to the City of Canton, County of Fulton and
State of Illinois,
be and the same is hereby zoned as a B-2 zoning configuration
according to the City Code of the City of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2. That the City Zoning Administrator is hereby
instructed and ordered to make the necessary adjustments on the
zoning map of the City of Canton, Illinois, to reflect the changes
required by this Ordinance.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon its passage by a majority vote of the
aldermen holding office in the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, at a regular meeting this 5th. day of nPcptnher
1995 upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES• Aldermen Molleck, Hartford, Sarff, Phillips, 1`~eade,
NAYS: Alderman May.
ABSENT• Aldermen Bohler, Shores.
