ORDINANCE NO. X461
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED AT THE ADDRESS OF 433 SOUTH 6TH AVENUE, IN THE CITY
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS OF TIM AND BARBARA BISHOP.
WHEREAS, It appears to the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is
located within the corporate limits of said City, said premises
being generally located at a common address known as 433 South
6th Avenue, Canton, Illinois, and,
WHEREAS, a petition for special use permit was duly filed
by the Petitioner and due and proper notice was published within
said City and County, all in accordance with the Statutes of
the State of Illinois, and the Ordinances of the City of Canton;
and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Planning
& Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois, on April
10, 1995, concerning said petition for special use and said
Planning & Zoning Commission at said time recommends to the
City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, that property
hereinafter described be granted a special use permit for a
three stall car garage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That a special use permit for a three stall car garage
be issued to, Tim & Barbara Bishop at the address of 433 South
6th Avenue, Canton, Illinois, affecting real property being
legally described on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference.
2. That their special use permit is personal to Tom &
Barbara Bishop at the above stated address only. That, further,
such special use permit is not transferrable or valid at any
other address or affecting any other property.
3. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate
documents, maps and related regulations be and the same are
hereby amended so that the territory hereinabove described shall
be and the same is hereby granted a special use permit to operate
all as provided by the City Code of the City of Canton.
4. That this ordinance shall be effective immediately
upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton,
Fulton County, Illinois, and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 2nd day of
May , 1995, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Coay, Molleck, Phillips, Sarff, Meade,
Bohler, May, Chapman.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None,
