ORDINANCE N0. 1450
AN ORDINANCE ABATING ALL OF THE BOND LEVY FOR THE 1994-1995 FISCAL
~~ x$300,000 Principal Amount Alternate Revenue Bonds Series
1993).
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has by Ordinance No. 1261
previously authorized the issue of $300,000 principal amount
Alternate Revenue Bonds, Series 1993; and,
WHEREAS, it now appears that the City has, or, will have on
hand, sewer and water funds sufficient to abate all of such bond
levy for the City's 1994-1995 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That $63,210.00 of the levy for City of Canton $300,000
Alternate Revenue Bonds, Series 1993, for the City of Canton
1994-1995 fiscal year be, and the same hereby is, abated.
2. That all other levies are hereby reaffirmed and
ratified.
3. That the City Clerk shall certify a copy of this
Ordinance to the Fulton County Clerk as and for said Clerk's
authority to abate $63,210.00 of said levy.
/.. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and approval by the Mayor
thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the Cit of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 17~ day of January,
1995.
AYES: Aldermen Coay, Phillips, Sarff, May, Chapman..
NAYS: None.
ABSENTS Aldermen Molleck, Meade, Bohler.
