BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH� CITX OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Yield Rig�at of Way Si�ns shall be placed at the 5outhwest
Corner and Northeast corner of Fs�st Olive Street and North Ninth Avenue in said
City of Canton, Illinois, ar.d all vehicles enterin� said North Ninth Avenue shall
reduce speed before enterin� said intersection so as not to interfere with or
hamper the uae of eaid avenue by vehiclea travelin� thereon.
Section 2. That Yield Right of Way Signs shall be placecl at the Southwest
corner and Northeast corner of F�.st Locust Street and North Eleventh Avenue in said
Citq of Canton, Illinois, and all vehicles entering said North Eleventh Avenue
shall reduce speed before entering said intersection so as not to interfere with
or hamper the use of said avenue by vehicles travelin� thereon.
Section 3. Any person who shall be convicted of a violation of any of the
proviaions of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than Three
Dollars (�3.00) nor more than Two fiundred Dollars (�200.00).
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in effeet ten davs after its passage
by the City Coune3l, spproval by the 2��ayor and �blication according to law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this 3rd day of
April A. D. 1957.
