5ectian 1. That Gection 11. of. Chapter �7�:VII of th� revised Ordinances
of the City of Canton, Illinois, of 1��45, as amended, be, and the same is rereby
further amended to read as follows:
"Section 11. FIr.F DFPART"_�''I'. Thc� Chief of the Fire Depertment shall
receive an annual salar,y of Four Thousand Ei�ht Nundred Dollars (�4g00.00); the
Assistant Chief of. the Fire Department, ahall receive an annual salary of Four
Thousand Three Hundred �i�hty Dollars (�43�0.00� and each fireman emple�Ted by
the Cit;r shall receive an annual salarv of Four Thousand One Nundred Sixty Dollars
��li1-60.GO)."
Section 2. Any �arior Ordinance in conflict wi�h the provisions of thia
Ordinance� be, and 3e hereby repealed.
5ection 3. This Ordinance shall be in effect after its passar-e b,y the
City Council and approval by the T°a.yor.

Section 1. That Section 12 of Chapter ?��'VII of the Revised f}rdinances
of the City of �anton, Sl.linois, of 1Q45, as amended, be, and the sam� is hereby
further amended to read as follows:
"�ection 12. PGLICE D'�PA.R.�'T'�?T. TYae Chief of Fo?ice shall receive an
annual salary of FIVE THousand Two Hundred Dollars (�5200.00); each ser�eant of
police shall receive an annual salar�r of Four "'housand Six Hundred Fiahty Dollars
(�.680.00); each policeman employed by said Cit-� srall receive an. annusl salary
of Four Thousand One Hundred Sixty Dollars (�/a.].60.G0); and each police r�.dio
operator e�plo,ped bq the City shall receive an annual salary of ihree Thousand
Four Hundred Forty.Dollars (�3L,,�.O.GO)."
Section 2. Any prior Ordinance in conflict with the provisions of thia
Ordir.ance, be, and is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in effect after its passa�e by the
