Section 1. Any person who is issued a notice of a parkir_� meter violation
may, on or before midni�ht of the day on w?�ich said notice is issued, avoid prose-
cution by placir_fl t�e notice ard the sum of twentv-five cents in an envelope and
depositinr? it in onz of the yellow boxes rrovided for said rurpose or� certain
parking meter posts in the City of �^anton, Illinois. An� person who shall not
do so on or before midni�?ht of the da,y on w�ich the notice is issued, in order to
avoid prosecution, may pa.y the siur or fiftvi cents to the proper offic5al at the
Police Department in the ^it�r of ^a.nton, ?1_I.inois.
Section 2. The *nembers of the �'olice t�epartmert shall collect such mone,ys
snd pay tre same ov�r to the ^ity Treasur�r of the said City receivin� his receipt�
therefore.
