Whereas, it appears to the City Council of the Cit�* o'P �ton, Illinois, �,:
that the territory hereinafter described is not within the corpor��e limits of �
any mur_icipalit.y but is continguous to the City of Canton, Illinois; and,
It further app�aring to the said City Counci�. that all electors resid�ng
in said territory hereinafter described and that the owners of record of all the
land within sa3d territory have requested that it be annexed to said City as
shown by the records of this Council.

Section l. That the territory described as fol]_ows:
Beginnin� on tre Center Line of Ray Street 660 feet South and
200 feet East of the D'orthwest Corner of Section 34, Township 7
I�orth, R.an�e �. East, Fourth Frincipa.l r"eridian, Fulton County,
Illinois, thence I'ast 175.5 feet; thence South 21 degrees and 48
minutes `�sst 269.7 feet; thence �outh 54 degrees ard 53 minutes
West 56.Ofeet; thence South g8 degrees and 09 mirnztes West
177.3 feet; thence North 10 degrees and 21 �inutes West 2�j3.0
feet to the point of beginnin�, contai.nin� 1.328 acres, more
or less,
be, and it is hereb,p annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2. That a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an
accurate map o£ the territory above described shall be recorded with the
Recorder of Deecis of Fulton County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this Ordirance shall be in effect from and afte�r a
two-thirds "aye" and "no" vote of the Gity Cauncil of the City of Canton,
Illinois, and approval by the �iayor of said City.
