BE IT ORDAIN� BY TH:i, CITY COUNCIL OF TH:. CITY GF CANTON, ILLINQIS:
Section 1. That the Ordinances of the City of Ca.nton, Illinois,
shall be revi�ed and published in book form, using a loose-leaf system
if such is her�inafter deemed advisible by the �ity CounciZ.
Section 2. That the Mayor, by ar.d with the consent of the City
Council, shall appoint two competent persons who ahall prepare and submit
to the City Council, for adoption or re�ection, an ordinance to revise
the City Ordinancer�.
Section 3. The persons so appointed by the Mayor, by and with the
consent of the City Council, shall revise the present ordina.nces, bringing
them up to date, supervise the publication and prrfor:n such other duties
as shall be required of them by the '�iayor or the City Council.
Seetion 4. The compensation to be paid the persons so appointed
shall be the sum of �2500.00, to be naid t�em out of the City Treasury
when the work is completed and thz Ordinance published.
Section 5. That Babcock Job Printery of Canton, Illi��ois, shall
be engaged to print one hundr.ed (100) copies of the new ordinances for
wrieh it shall be compensated �5.50 for each pa�e printed and the cost
of the covera plus 10�, which said sum shall be paid out of the City
Treasury in four equel installments as the work is completed.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this _��
