WH�tEF'ORE, it appears that on the 1��3ay of P�arch A. D. 195$, there
was filed with the City Clerk of the Oity of nton, Tlli_no3s, a verified Peti-
tion �igned b,y all. of the owner� of record and also by all the electors residing
in the territory hereinafter described requesting that said territory be annexed
to the City of Canton, zllinois.
AND '�IHi�EAS, said territory ia not within the corporate limits of any
municipality and it is contiguou� to the said City of Canton, Illinois; NClW

ated in the County of Fulton in the State of Illinois, more
pa.rticularly described as follows; Be�inning at an iron
pin located 666 feet Fast and 660 feet South of the Ttorth-
east corner of Lot � 11 in C. H. Divilbi.s Addition to
the Cit;� of Canton, Illinois, running thence West 3p2 feet,
thence I�'orth to the existin� corporetion line of the City
of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, tnence easterly slong
seid existing corporation line to the nearest point Where
said corporation line turns North, thence northerly alon�
