AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL USE/HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR
KYP AND RICK MCLAREN FOR A GIFT AND CRAFT SHOP AT 10 SOUTH AVENUE
C, CANTON, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of August 1996 the Planning and Zoning
Commission did recommend that Kyp & Rick McLaren be granted a Home
Occupation Permit to operate a gift and craft shop in their residence
at 10 South Avenue C, Canton, Illinois, and;
WHEREAS, there were no objections to the proposed gift and
craft shop facility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois:
1. That the Council finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That in accordance with the recommendation of the Planning
and Zoning Commission, Kyp and Rick McLaren, is hereby granted a
Home Occupation Permit to operate a gift and craft shop at their
residence at 10 South Avenue C, Canton, Illinois.
3. That this ordinance shall be in effect immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois and approved by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois at a regular meeting on the 3rd day of S~ptemberl996, upon
a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen May, Shores, Meade, Nidiffer, Phillips, Sarff,
Molleck.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman Hartford.
