ORDINANCE N0. 1515
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL USE/HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR
DAVID J. PROMEN FOR A RETAIL FIREARMS SALES AT 620 DEAN COURT, CANTON,
ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of August lgg6 the Planning and Zoning
Commission did recommend that David J. Promen be granted a Home
Occupation Permit to operate selling of firearms in his residence
at 620 Dean Court, Canton, Illinois, and;
WHEREAS, there were no objections to the proposed firearm sales.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois:
1. That the Council finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That in acccordance with the recommendation of the Planning
and Zoning Commission, David J. Promen, is hereby granted a Home
Occupation Permit to operate selling of firearms at his residence
at 620 Dean Court, Canton, Illinois.
3. That this ordinance shall be in effect immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois at a regular meeting on the 3rd day of September 1996,
upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Molleck, Sarff, Phillips, Nidiffer, Meade, Shores,
May,
NAYS: None,
ABSENT: Alderman Hartford.
