, WHF�?.EAS, under the terms and provisions of Ordinance Number 230� passed
by the City Council o£ the City of Canton, Illinois, on January 18, 1955, ar�d ap-
proved by the Mayor of said City on January 18, 1955, certain areas bordering
Iake Canton were authorized to be leased for resid.ent3al pu.rposes; and
WHER�'.AS, another area adjoining said Lake has been platted into Lots
to be lmown as I,ake Breeze Addition to Lake Canton,
TI�RFFORE, BE IT ORDAZNE9 BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOISs
Saction 1. That the officials named in Ordinance No. 230, be, and they
are hereby authorized to enter i.nto written leases with per�ons desiring to lease
lots in Lake Breeze Addition. That the annual rental for each of said Lflts aha,ll
,�� •�o
be the sum of ��9; and tha.t any residence constructed or placed on said Lot
shall cost or be worth the sum of �5000.00 at the time it is con�tructed or placed
on said Lot. That in a11 other reapects Ordinance Ntiunber 230 shall prevail.
Section 2. That the Leaseea shall be residenta of the City of Canton,
Illinois, and that those who have signe�. requests for Leases in the City Water
Department aha11 be �iven firat choice to Lots in the order in which their requests
have been made.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in effect after ita passage by the
City Couneil and approval by the Mayor.
