Section 1. That stop siPns sh.all be erected at the Southwest and iiorth-
east corners of North �ighth Avenue and nast Birch Street in the City of Canton,
Illinois, and all vehicles about to enter upon said North Eighth Anenue shall
come to a full stop before going upon the same and shall not enter upon said
North I:ighth Avenue until the way is clear of traffie.
Seetion 2. That stop si�ns shall be erected at the Southwest and North-
east corners of North Ninth Avenue and T��ast Birch Street in the City of Canton,
Illinois, and all vehiclos about to ent�r upon aaid Tlorth ATinth Avenue shall come
to a full atop before go�n� upon the same and shall not enter upon said North
Ninth Avenue unt�l the way is clear of traffic.
Section 3. That stop signs shall be erected at the Atai�#-and North-
east cornera of West Walnut and South Avenue D in the City of Canton, Illinois,
and sll vehicles approaching said intarseetion from th.e Ea.�t
shall come to a full stop before entering said intersection.
Section Q. That a Yield right-of.-wa,y sign shall be erected at the South-
west corner of Avenue C and Cass Place and a stop sign shall be erected at the
Northeast corner of !'�a.ss Place and Anenue Cl in the City of Canton� Illinois, and
all vehicles approachin� Avenue C from the West shall reduce speed before entering
said intersection so as not to interfere with or hamper the use of said street
by vehicles traveling thereon; and all vehicles approaching Anenue C from the East
shall come to a full atop before going upon the same and shall not enter upon
said Avenue C until the way is clear of traffic.
Seetion 5. �'very person convicted for a violation of this Ordinance
shall be punished by a fine of not less than T�ree �ollars (�3.C10) nor more than
Two Hundre�� Dollars (:�200.00).
Section b. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days a£ter its passa�e by the City Couneil, approval by the Mayor and publication
according to law.
