verified Petition si�!ned by all the owners of recor,3 and also b,y all the electors
residing in the territor� hereinafter described requestinc� that said territory
be annexed to the City of Canton, �111nois,
AND WHT'REAS, said territory is not within the corporate li.mits of any
municipality and it is conti,�uous to the said Cit� of Canton, Illinois; NOW ,

�ection 1. That the followin� described territory:
A part of the Southeast Quarter of �ection 26 in Township 7
North, Ran�e �, �'ast of the Fourth Principal r�eridian, situated in
the County of Fulton and State of Illinois, and described as
follows, to-wit:
Startina at a stone at the �?ortheast corner of the Southeast
Quarter of the above �Section 26, thence We�t 1301.5 feet, to a
concrete monument, which is t'.ne �lace of be�innin�; thence
West 504.4b feet; thenca Gouth 1 28� West 63$.2? feet,
thence ;�.st 131 South 507.22 feet to a concrete monument;
thence North 1° 13� F,ast 638.85 feet to the place of be-
ginninQ, containin� 7.1�26 acres. T#'�"CFPTING that part of
the above described premises subsequently conveyed to
Steel, R.oudebush and Royster, all of said territory being
situated in the County of Multon and �tate of Illino_is,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Cit,y of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2. That the ^ity Clerk file with the �ecorder of Fulton County
Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordirance and an accurate map of the above
described territory.
