Section 1` That Chapter ;�'s:1tV11]., Section 12 of the Pevised
Ordinances vf the City of Canton� Illinois� 1959, be and the same is
hereby amended to rPad as folloca�;
"5ection 12. POTICF DEPAF�Tt�'FNT� The Chief of Police sha11 re-
ceive an annua.l salary of Five Thousand .Six Fiundred Si?cty Dollsrs '

sated for the, work they perform at the rate of �1.50 per hour. In add-
ition to his salary, each uniformed policeman (except auxiliary police)
