Section 3. PA�TNG PROxIBITE�. That in order to clean up the debris of those portions of the streets, avenues, and courts described ia Sections 1 and 2 of this Ordinance� after the hours of 1:00 o'clock, A. M. and before the hour of 5:00 o'cloek, A. M. of each and every day of the 9ea�, ao pers�n shall park a vehicle on anq portions of the streets, avenues and courts described in Sections 1 and 2. Section 4. ENFORCEMEN� PENALTY. That the police department, un,der the direction of the Committee on Zegal and Police of the City Council shall control the enforcement of Section 1 and 2 of this Ordinance. Aay person who is issued a Notice that he has� violated any of the provisions of Section� 1 and 2 0� this Ordinance may, on or before midnight of the day on which such Natice is issued, avoi8 prosecution by placing the Notice aa�d the �um of Twenty-five Cents in an envelope and dQpositing it in one of the �rellow boxes pro- vided for said purpose on certain parking meter posts in the City of Cantoa. Section 5. OPERATION OF P�RKSNG METERS. Whenever a vehicle shall be parked in a parking lane or stall provided for and next to a parking meter as provided b� the Ordinanees of said �ity ot' Canton, on those streets, avenues, or Courts described in Sections 1 and 2 of this Ordinance, the owner or operatdr shall, upon enter- ing said parking lane or stall for the purpose of parking said ve- hicle, immediat�ly deposit in said meter a five ceat coin or a one cent coin of the United States of America along side of or next to said parking lane or stall in accordanae with tYre instructions thereoa. The five cent coin ��il permit the vehicle to be parked for a period oY 4a� '!3���;r. aad the one cent coin will permit the vehicle to be parked f`or a period af twelve minutes. � � , L ��� violatioa of this Ordinance for any person to fail or neglect to so deposit the proper coin or coins when parking within said parking lanes ar stalls. Upon deposit of said coin or coins as herein provided to be deposited, said parking lane or stall may then be used b�r eaid vehicle durin� the time herein provided to be used upon deposit of eaid coin or coins, and �a�d vehicle shall be considered illegally parked if it rem�ins in said space beyond a legal parking limit as herein provided when the parking meter displays a signal showing said vehicle to be parked without the deposit of the coin or coins her�in pravided to be depositsd or over the time herein provided for such coin or coins. Section 6. PARALLEL PARKINv. All vehicles parked upon the Last side of 1Jorth Main Street between C2�estnut Street and Zocust Street of said City shall be parked parallel to and with the right wheels thereof not more than ten inche� fram the c�arrla edge of the street. Section 7. POSTING SIGNS ETC. �he Police Department and Street Department shall do all things necessar3► to inform the pub— lic of the provisions of this Qrd�.nance. Section 8. PENALTY. Every person convicted for a violation of this Ordina.nce for which another penalt�r is not provided �ahall be punished by a fine of not less than Qa� }�ci>�?�a�r:=nor �mor� . than One Hundred Dollars. Section 9. REPEAL. All prior Ordinances of said City in conflict with any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be and the same is herebq repealed on and after the effective dete of this Ordinance. Sectiou 10.
