WHER:CAS, there has bee�c �stabl.i,hed a Ehild Care -Cent�er
at 435 East Elm Street, Cantor�, �lli.a�c:�i�, where infants and older
children are taken care of durin� the ��ime that their pare�ts are
otherwise engaged;
AND, WHE�EAS, for the protect�nn of said children going
to and from the resid�nce oa sa�.d prem�_>-�s, and as a fir� protect—
ion precaution;
BE IT ORDATNED BY TI�iE CI�lX COUa7ri.L UF TFiE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS.
Section 1. That a spac� be set �.�side, set off and marked
at the curb on East Elm Street, G�ntan, Illinois, to the exten�
of fort9 (40) feet directly in front o�' the center of said resi-
dence, where no parking of vehicles sh�..11 be permitted, and �rhere
patrons and other persons havin� busin��� at said home can embark
and disembark, load and unload. v�;�icl�s.
Section 2. That said fart;y foa� space shall be plainly
marked, under the supervision of the Chief� of Police, so that
the public will be fully inforr��d. that �a�.d epace has been set
aside as a "no parking" zone.
Section 3. That it shal].. be un_.a.:�wful for an� persan to
park a vehicle ' i�i said designat��� �pac� :�t any time.
Section 4. Every persar� cc�nvict;e� of a violation of this
Ordinance shal�. be fined not 1��� than Cry� (1) Dollar nar more than
