BE IT 4RDAINLD BY THE CITY CUUlQCIL uF TIi� CITY �F CANTON,

Qsctiion l. It sh��l���,�w�� � establish or aper-

haviag secured a license therefore as herein provided. Applica-
tions for such liaenses shall eompl9 with the geaeral pro�risions
relatiag to applicatione for license and permits. The fee for
such permit ehall be five dollars for each es�ablishment or place
of busine�e� per annum. Self-s rvice

8ection 2. '1'he term "self-service'"l�undries",�as uded
ia th1� ordin&ace �hall meaa any establishment in which aoin
operated facilities are available for �ashiag clothes or fcr
drying clothes,_�.or b4ths_and which is o en ar�d available to the

Secticn 3. It shall be unlawful to keep any ecuch effitab-
lishment open for business betwesn the h'ours of 8 p.m. aad 8 a.m.
unles� there is �n adult attendant in charge of the premises duriag
such hours.
Sectioa 4. Installation of all equipment in such estab-
lishffients ahall be in conformity with the ordinances of the City
of Canton relating to such installations.
Section 5. it shall be the duty of the Chief of Police
to �ee to the enforcement o.P thie Ordinan.ce an.d to cause such in-
spec�ion to be made of the premises as may be necessary for the
purpose.
bection 6. �y person, firm or corporation violating
any provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not les� t1�an
$5.00 nor more than $2�0.00 for each offense, and a e�eparat� of-
fen�e shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which
a Qiolation occurs or continues.
Section ?. This 8rdinan�e shall be in effect after its
passage by the Cit� Coun.cil, approval by the 1`'iayor, and publica-
tion according �to law.
