ORDINANCE NO. 1504
AN ORDINANCE. ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL USE/HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR
DOREEN FITCH FOR A DAY CARE CENTER AT 870 EAST WALNUT STREET, CANTON,
ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of May lgg6 the Planning and Zoning
Commission did recommend that Doreen Fitch be granted a Home
Occupation Permit to operate a Day Care in her residence at 870
East Walnut, Canton, Illinois, and;
WHEREAS, there were no objections to the proposed child care
facility.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois:
1. That the Council finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That in accordance with the recommendation of the Planning and
Zoning Commission, Doreen Fitch, is hereby granted a Home Occupation
Permit to operate a Day Care Center at her residence at 870 East
Walnut Street, Canton, Illinois.
3. That this ordinance shall be in effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois and approved by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois at a regular meeting on the 4th day of June, lgg6, upon
a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen May, Shores, Nidiffer, Phillips, Sarff,
Hartford, Molleck.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman Meade.
