BE IZ' ORDAIlV�D BY THE' CITY COUNCIL OF T:Ii� CITY OF CANTON, ILZINOIS: That Section '7 of Chapter XRIII of the Revised Ordinances of the City of C�.nton, I1linois, 1959, be, and the same is hereby amended to add to said Section 7, to be known and designated as Section 7-A, the following: Section 7-A. Closing Hours. All tavers and places where alcoholic liquors are sold or dispensed, as described and set forth in said Chapter XXIII, shall close and lock the doors of ruch place of business at 12 o' clock, midnight of each day in which it is lawful to sell and dispense said liquors , and shall clear the buildin� of all patrons and other persons by 12:30 o!clock, A. M. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this amendment to said Ordinances shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars nor more than two hun- dred dollars. This amendment to said Ordin.ances shall be in effect ten days after its passage by the City Council, approval by the Mayor, and publication according to law.
