From and aft�r the date of the adoption of thi Ordinance and publication accordin� to law, no parkin.� of any vehicle shall be permitted on th� North side of Er�st Elm Street, in said City of Canton, between the East line of Second Avenue and thc West line of Fourth Avenua. Section 2. That parkin� of vehicles on the South side of East Elm Strcet, from the East sid� of Second Avenue to the West side of Fourth Avenue , in said �ity of Canton, sh�ll be parked at �n angle of Fifty-five (55) dcgrees with the curb of the side walk on thP �outh side of said East Elm Street; Section 3. It shall be thG duty of the Superintendent of Streets, under the direction of the City En�ineer, to cause to be marked by distinet lines parking stalls of the width of Eight and One-half (8�) f�et, and �11 vehicles parked upon the South side of said East E1m St'reet, as aforesaid, shall be parked with in said parking stalls; and -�he Superintendent of Strcets, under thc direction of the City En�incer, �hall plainly mark those por tions of East Elm Strect above described reserved as no parking zones. Section 4. That Ordinanc� Number 28, heretofore pass�d by the City Council of Canton, pertaining to the p�rallel Parking on East Elm Street, Canton, Illinois, between Second 4venue an.d Fourth Avenue, is hcreby expressely repealed. . Section 5. Every person convicted for � violation of thia Ordinance shall be punished by a fina of not less than One Dol- lar nor more than One Hun.dred Dollars. Section 6.
