B�' IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CCUNCIL OF TIi�� CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That a stop sign shall be pla�ed on thc North
east corner of Myrtle Street where the same inte�sects with North
leventh Avenue , Canton, Illinois, and every driver of a vehicle
��iving West on said Myrtle Street and approaching said stop Sign
shall stop before enterin� said North Eleventh Qvenue, and then
roceeu cautiously.
Section 2. That a s'�op �ign shall be placed �n thc Nbrth ast
corner of West Maple Street wher� th�; sam� intersects South Ave-
ue D, Canton, Illinois, and every driver of a vehicle driving
est on said West Maple Street and. approaching said stop sign
shall stop befor�c enterin�; said South Av�nue D, and then proceed
cautiously. And a stop sign shall be placed on the Southwest cor-
er of West Maple Street where th� same intersects South Avnue
, Canton, Illinois, and every driver of a vehicle drivin� East
on said West Maple Street an<�. approaching said stop si�n shall
stopbefore entering said South �venue D, and then procc�d cau-
tiously.
Section 3. TYiat a Yield Ri�ht-of-Way Sign shall be
placed at the Northeast corner of East Walnut Straet where th�
said strcet intersr�cts with South Sixth Av�nue, Canton, Illinois,
and all vehicles �rivin�; West on East Walnut Street shall �rant
the privilege of the i�mediate us� of the intersectin�; roadway
to traffic within said intersection and. to vehicles approaching
from the ri�ht and l�ft on sai� North Sixth Avcnue.
Section 4. .Any person who shall violate this ordinance
shal.l be sub�ect to a fine of not _less than Three (�3.00) Dol-
lars nor mor� than Two Hundred (�200.00) Dollars.
Section 5. This Ordinance ��ail r� in effect ten days
after its passag� by th� City Council , approval by th� Mayor,
and_ publication accordin�; to law.
