ORDIN�INCE N0. �'��v .
�REAB, by Ordinance Number ?2 of the City Couacil of the
Cit� of Canton, Illinois, passed and adopted b� the Cit9 Council
on the 23rd. day of November, 1962, provided that parking meter�
be installed on both the PTorth and South sides of West Pine
Street, ia Canton, from the West Line of South Main Street �o
Martin Avenue, with certain exceptions; and
WHEREA3, the City Council deems it advisable that certain
of said parking meters be removed; therefore
SE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
ILI►INOIS, That
Section 1. .�11 of the parking meters now on the South si
of West Pine Street from a point One Hundred Fifty (150) feet
West of the West line of South Main Street to Martin bvenue, an.d
all of the parking meters now on the North side of West Pine
Street from the West line of South Av�nue 1 to Martin �t be
removed.
Section 2. On and after the effective date of this Ordia-
ance, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Canton, is
hereby instru�ted to remove said parkin� meters described ia
Section "1" of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and ef-
fect #�fter its pa�sage by the Cit9 Council, approval by� the
Mayor, a.nd publication according to law.
PAS�D, by the City �ouneil and approved by the Mayor this
