Section :l. That Ordinance Number 5 passed by the City Coun
cil of the City of Canton, Illinois, on the 6th. day of �pril,
1960, and approved by the Mayor on that date, be and the same is
hereby a.mended to read as follows:
Section 2. REGUL�R MEETINGS. The Re gular Meetings of the
City Council shall be held in the Council Chamber qf the Ci�y
Ha11 on the First, Second, and Third Tuesdays of each month, at ,
the hour of 7:00 o'clock, P. M. , from the date of th� adoption
of this amendment �o said Ordinance to and including the 30th.
day of April, 1965, except when said Tuesday shB`dl be a public
holiday or a day upon which shall be a general o� aapbcial elee-
tion and then the Council shall meet on the daq following at the
same hour. Ad�ourned meetings shall be held for the nurpose of
completing the unfinished business of the regular meeting at
suah time or times as may be determined by the Council,provided,
however, that the regu�.ar,reports of officers and claims against
the City s�aa11 be presented at the first meeting of each month
only.
Section 3. FOLLQWING MEETINGS; From and after the 30th.
da� of April, 1965, the regular meetings of the City Council
shall be hQld on the First and Third Tuesdays of each month, at
the hour o� 7:00 o'cloek, •P. M. , uader thq same conditions and
provisions as are set forth in the preceding paragraph of' this
ordinance.
Section 4. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be in ef-
fect from and after its passage by the City Council and approval
by the Mayor.
