WHEREAS, in an Ordinance passed by the City Council of t
City of Canton, Illinois, on the 14th. day of July, 1964, which
Ordinance is number 112 of the Ordinances of the City of
Canton, Illinois, a mistake was made in one word of said Appro-
priation Ordinance, to wit in the heac�in� of the first line of
the third para�raph under the general title of "FOR OTHER PURPOS-
ES AUTHORIZED BY LAW'' the word "PUBLIC" was used in the sentence
FOR PUBLIC PENSION F�TI�TD when the word "POLICE" should have been
used i.n place of the word "Public"� so that said title sentence
should read "FOR POLICE PENSION FUND";
AND WHEREAS, the third paragraph as aforesaid was placed
in said Appropriation Ordinance for the purpose of appropriatin�
funds for the police pension fund;
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI-� CITY
OF CANTGN, I�LINUIS;
Section 1. That the said Ordinance be amended on its
face so that the word "PUBLIC" be erased from said Ordinance and
the word "POLICE" subtituted thPrefore , so that the title of said
paragraph shall read "FOR FOLICE PENSION FUND. "
Section 2. That said correction shall be an.d take effect
nunc pro tunc as of July 14, 1964
Section 3. That the rest of said paragraph shall remain
intact as set forth in said Ordinance of July 14, 1964.

signed and approved by the Mayor of said �ity of Canton, and depo -
ited in the office of the Clerk of the �ity of Canton, this 4th.
