GRDINANCE N0. 12�. •
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF CITY OF CANTON,
II,LINOIS, That
Section 1. A stop sign shall be placed on the �ast side
of Thompson �ourt, in the City of Canton, Illinois, at the point
where s�id Thompson Court intersects with East Locust Street, and
� ever�y drive�of a motor vehicle approaching said stop sign while
driv�.n� South on said Thompson �ourt shall stop before entering
onto said East Locust Street , and shall then proceed when a safe
interval occurs.
Section 2. The proper officials of the city of Canton,
shall po$t a si�n at said intersection informing persons of the
provisions of this Ordinance.
Section 3. That any person who shall be convicted of a
violation of this Ordinance shall be punished by a f ine of not
less than three dollars and not more than two hundred dollars.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in effect ten days af—
�ier its passage by the Cit� �ouncil, appro�aal by the Mayor, and
publication accordin� to law.
PASSED by the City Council of the Cits of Canton, Illinois,
