ORDINAIvrCE N0. �-25 .
BE IT QRDAINED BY TH� CITY CGUNCIL OF TH�N� CITY OF C�NTON,
ILLINOIS, THAT:
Section 1. A yield Right-of-Way sign shall be placed on
the north side of East Olive Street where said street intereects
with North Seventh Avenue, in Canton, Illinois, and all vehicles
�riving West on East Olive Street shall �rant the privilege of
the immediate use of the intersecting roadway to traffic�' within
said intersection and to vehicles approaching from ri�ht and
left on said North Seventh Avenue.
Section 2. A yield �ight-of-Way sign shall be placed on
the North side of East Olive Street where said �treet intersects
with North Ei�htnAvenue , in Canton, Illinois , and all vehicles
driving West on East Olive Street shall grant the privilege of
the immediate use of the in.tersecting roadway to traffic within
said intersection and to vehicles approaching from the right and
left on said North EighthAvenue ; and a yield Right-of-Way sign
shall be placed on the South side of East Olive Street where sai
street intersects with North Eighth.�venue , in Canton, Illinois,
and all vehicles drivin� East on said East Olive Street shall
grant the privilege of the immediate use of the intersectin�
roadway to traffic within said intersection and to vehicles ap-
proaching from the right and left on said North EighthAvenue.
Section 3. Any person who shall violate this Ordinance
shall be subject to a fine of not less that Three ($3.00) Dol-
lars nor more than Two Hundred (�20�.00) Dollars.
Seetion 4. This Ordinance shall be in effect ten days
after its passage by the City �ouncil, approval bq the Mayor,
and publication according to law.
