�RDINANCE NO. -3 � .
An Ordinance amending Section 2 of the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Canton, Illinois, and being Section 2 of Chapter SLV
of the xevised Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois, 1959•
BE IT ORD_�INED BY TI� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTGN,
ILZINOIS, That
Section 1. Section 2 of the Zonin� Ordinance of the City of
Canton, Illinois, being Section 2 of Chapter XI►V of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois, 1959, is hereby amend-
ed in the following respects: That
Part of Lot Number 14 in French's Addition
to Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said
Lot, running thence West about 50 feet to the
Northeast corner of Peter HaOermale's part of
said Lot, thence South 1'72 feet, thence East
50 feet to the East line of said I�ot, thence
North 172 feet to the place of beginning; be
changed from R-2 classification, being a One
Family Residential District, to a B-1 class-
ification or District, that is a Local Shop-
ping District.
That in all other respects said Section 2 of the said Zon-
ing Ordinance, as heretofore amended, of the City of Canton, I11-
inois, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval b� the Mayor, and publication
according to law.
PASSED by the City Council of t City of Canton, Illinoie,
and approved by the Mayor, this ' day of March, 1965.
