ORDINANCE NtTMBER �L.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CUUNCIL OF T !� CITY OF C.ANTON,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That a Yield Right-of-Way sign shall be placed
on the East�:� side of N'orth Sixth Avenue where said �treet inter-
sects with East S��u�.e Street, and a Yiel� Right-of-Way s�:gri:�.shall be
�;� �i;�,r placed on the ���`��' side of North Sixth Avenue where said �treet
� ;� �.:+�� intersecte �rith Ea�t S�rt�,ce Street, and all vehicles drivir� No�th
�: r �� ��t� shall�grant �thetprivilegevofuthehimmediateCUSegofatheEinte se tingtreet
;� .,,;°' " roadway to traftic within said intersectioa and to vehicles approach-
ing from the right or left on said Last Spruce Street.
Section 2. That a yield Right-of-Wa�r sign shall be placed
on the West side of North Sixth Avenue where said Street intersects
with East Locust Street, and a Yield Right-of-Way sign shall be
placed on the East s�ide of North Sixth �venue where said street
intersects with E�s� Locust Street, and all vehicles driving North
` or South on North Sixth Avenue when approaching said East Locuat
8tre� shall grant the privilege of the immediate u$e of �h�''intet-
sec��:ag t�adi�ay to traffic within said intersection an.d to vehicles
approaching f�om the right or left on said East Locust Street.
Section 3.• That a yield xight-of�ay sign shall be placed on
the West side of North Sixth Avenue where said Street intes�e�
with East Chestnut Street, and all vehicles driving So�tth oa" .t�r'�
Sixth Avenue shall when approaching said East Chestnut Street �hall
grant the privilege of the immediate use of the intersectin� road-
way to traffic within said intersection and to vehicles approaching
from the right ,or left on said East Chestnut Street,
Section 4. '1'he proper offici�ls of the City of Canton, I11-
inois, shall post signs at said intersections informing persons of
the provisions of this Ordlnance.
Section 5. That a.ny person who shall be convicted of a viola-
tion of any of -the provisions of this Ordinance, shall be punished
by a fine of not less tha�1 Three Dollars and not more than. Two Hun-
dred Dollars.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall be in effect ten days after
its passage by the City Council, approval by the Mayor, and publi-
cation according to law.
