WHEREAS, the owners of re�l estate hereinafter described
have heretofore filed with the Planning a�nd Zoning Commission of
the Citp of Canton, Tllinois, a Petition for Hearing to re-zone
said premises from a R-3 District, Trro Family ftesidential to
R-y., Multiple Family Residential, and
�iHEREAS, due notice was given of said hearing before said
co�ni�sion at which meeting no person appeared objecting to said
reclassification, and
WHEREAS, the said commission, by Resolution duly and
properly passed, did approve of said re-zoning and did transmit
to the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, a letter re-
questing said council to approve of said re-zoning in compliance
with said Petition.
THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the
City of Canton, Illinois:
SECTION l. Th�t the rezl e�tate described as follows,
to-wit:
A part of Lot Number 'Twentp (20) in French's Addition to
the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, described
as followsz
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot 20 and
running thence South 165 feet, thence East 77 feet, thence
North 165 feet, thence West 7? feet to the place of be-
ginning;
ALSO, a part of Lot Number Twentp-two (22) in said Frenchts
Addition to the City of Canton, F'ulton County, Illinois,
described a� follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner
of said Lot 20 in said French's r�ddition and running thence
South 95 feet, thence East 1$6 feet, thence North 95 feet
to the North line of s�id Lot No. 22, thence We�t 54 feet,
thence South 11 feet, thence West (Parallel with the North

SECTION 2. That the proper officials of said City shall
make a record of said ch�nges in the zoning maps s�nd records of
said Citp.
Passed by the City �ouncil and approved by the Mayor
of said City this day of June, 1965.
