ORDINANCE N0. �
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH� CZTY OF CAN70 N, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. Tnat the Custodian of the Sanitary Zand Fill
shall receive an annual salary of not less than $5,000.00 nor
more than $6,100.00.
Section 2. That Sec�ion 4 of Ordinance Number 136,
passed by theZ�'ity Council and approved by the hTayor on �!ay 1$,
1965, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
ttSection 4• TIME. The Sanitary Land Fill shall be
open between the hours of eight o'clock in the forenoon
and twelve otclock noon and one otclock in the afternoon
and four o'clock in the afternoon of Monday through Friday
of each week and from eight o'clock in the forenoon until
twelve o'clock noon on 5aturday, except on New Years Day,
Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and
Christmas, when said Sanitary Land �'ill shall be closed.'"
Section 3 . Any person who sha11 be found guilty of a
violation of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be
subject to a fine of not less than Ten Dollars nor more than �nro
Hundred Dollars for each offense.
Section 4.. This Ordinance shall be in effect ten days
after its passage by the City �ouncil, approval by the ��ayor and
publication according to law.
