Section l. That Chapter �'..�I, �'.rticle I , Section 1 of
the Hevised Grdinances o:�' the �ity of Canton, Illinois, as amended,
be and the same is further amended to read as follows:
"Section l. f'OLICk� DEP�IRTP��'�:�:T CRE�TLD, P�TL',P�1�3LRS. There is
:�ereby established an executive denartment of t:r.e City uovern-
Ment, which shall be knewri as the "Folice �epa.rtment," and
shall consist of one Chief of F'alice, 3 Police �er�eants,
$ Patro].men, l0 �luxiliary Policemen, 2 Desk C:lerks and
1 File Cierk.tt
Section 2. 'I'hat upon the appointment of a Patrolman
as r�rovided for b�,T the Ordinances of the City af Canton, lllinois,
C%rdinance IVo. 1�2,� passPd b�T the City Council. and approved by the
P�'ayor the 5th day of September, 1961, shall no lon�er be in effect.
