� WHEREFORE, it appears t�at on the ��day of_��Q-e,,t--;

A. D. 1965, there was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Canton, Illinois,
a verffied Petition signed by all of the owners of record and also by all the
electors residing in the territory hereinafter described requesting that said
territory be annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois; and
"" WHEREAS, said territory is not within the corporate limits
of any municipality and it is contiguous to the said City of Canton, Illinois;
NOW, THEREFORE;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the following described territory;
Lots No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,
15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 2 0, 2 l, 2 2, 2 3, 2 4, 2 5, 2 6, 2?, 2 8,
29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34� 35, 36, 37, 38,, 39, 40, 41 and
42, in Northview Manor Section One Addition to the City
of Canton, a subdivision of part of the Northeast Quarter
(NE 1/4) of Section Twenty-two (22), Township Seven (7)
North, Range Four (4) East of the Fourth Principal
Meridian,
be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That the City Clerk file with the Recorder of
Fulton County, Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance and an accurate
map of the above described territory.
Passed by a two-thirds aye and nay votes of the City Council
of the City of Canton, Illinois, and approved by the Mayor of said City on
