Canton, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is
not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is con-
tiguous to the City of Canton, Illinois; and
It further appearing to the said City Council that all
electors residin� in said territory hereinafter described and tha�
the owner of record of all the land within said territory has re-
quested that it be annexed to said City as shown by the records
of this Council:

Section 1 . 7.'hat the territory described as follows:
Part of the Southwest �uarter of the Southeast i�uarter
of �ection 26, Township 7 North, Range 4 �ast of the
Fourth Principal �•'�eridian, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot Number 20
in the C . H. Divilbiss �ddition to the City of Canton,
Illinois, running thence East 100 feet, thence North
175 feet, thence �dest 100 feet, thence South 175 feet
to the place of beg:inning, situated in the County of
Fulton and State of Zllinois,
be and it is hereby annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2. 2'hat a certified copy of this Urdinance to-
gether with an accurate map of the territory above described shall
be recorded with the Recorder of l7eeds of Fulton County, Illinois.
Section 3 . That this �rdinance shall be in effect from
and after a two-thirds "aye" and ttnoe" vote of the City Council
of the City of Canton, Illinois, and approval by the �Tayor.
PASSED by a two-thirds T'ayet' and f' oe" vote of the City
Council and approved by the �7ayor this ,���`�„ day of January x. D.
