WHEREAS, the owners of real estate hereinafter described
have heretofore filed with the Planning and `Loning Commission of
the City of Canton, Illinois, a Petition for Hearing to re-zone
said premises from an R-4 District, Multiple Family Residential,
to B-2, General Business �istrict, and
wHERF:AS, due notice was given of said hearing before said
Commission at which meetin� no person appeared objecting to said
reclassification, and
-wTH�REAS, the said commission, by Resolution duly and
properly passed, did approve of said re-zoning and did transmit
to the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, a letter re-
questing said Council to approve of said re-zoning in compliance
with said Petition.
THEREFURE, B� IT UkDAINED BY T HE CITY CGUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That tne real estate described as follows,
to-wit•

The West One-half of Lot Number 75 in Jones' Second
Addition to the City of Canton, Illinois, and also
land lying South of Lot Number 75 and lying North of
the Section line dividing Southeast G�uarter of
Section 27 and the Northeast +�ua.rter of Section 31�,
situated in the County of Fulton and �tate of
Illinois�
BE Ar1D THE S�ME shall hereafter be zoned a B-2, General Business
District.
Section 2. That the proper officials of said City shall
make a record of said changes in the zoning maps and records of
said City.
Passed by the City �ouncil and appraved by the Mayor of
the City of Canton, �llinois, this .�' �,day of Ma�, 1966.
