WHEREAS, the Fulton County Housing Authority f iled with
the Planning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois a petition
for the rezoning of the premises described below from R-1 and R-2
(one family residential districts) to R-4• (multiple family residen
tial district) ,
WHEREAS, after due notice of said hearing having been
published in conformance with the requirements of the zoning ordin
ance and a public hearing having been held by the Planning Commiss on
' of the City of Canton, and
WHEREAS, said commission, by resolution duly and properl
passed and recorded, did approve the rezoning of said premises and
did transmit a letter to this body requesting it to rezone said
premises in compliance with the petition and a resolution duly
enacted by said commission,
THEREFORE, BE IT OR.DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the premises described as :
Lots One (1) through �aenty (20)
in Block Forty-One (41) in D. W.
VITTUM�S ADDITION in the City� of
Canton, and State of I1linois.
be and shall hereafter be zoned an R-4 multiple family residential
district.
Section 2. That the proper officials of the City of
Canton shall make a record of the aforesaid changes and reclassi-
fications in the zoning maps and records of the city.
