ORDINANCE N0.-���
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GANTON
ILLINOI3:
SECTION 1. No person shall park a vehicle, except
for the un oa�S d�n�of goods or the discharging of passengers,
on the West side of South Avenue B from Elm Street to Pine
5treet in said City.
SECTIC?N 2. Any person accused of a violation of thi�
Ordinance may set�le and compromise the claim against him or
her for such violation by paying to the City the sum of One
Dollar (�1.00) for each offense within twenty-four hours from
the time such violation was committed. Such payment shall be
made at the police station, and a receipt shall be issued f or
all money ao received, and such money shall b e promptly turned
over to the �ity Treasurer to be placed in the parking meter
fund. If such pa,yment ie ma.de the members of the police de-
partment and traffic afficers are hereby authorized to refrain
from instituting a prosecution for said violation.
SECTIQN 3. This Qrdinance shall be in effect ten day�s
after its passage by the �ity Council, approval by the Mayor
and publication accordin� to law.
