A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING CANTON HIGH
SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM AND STAFF
WHEREAS, Canton High School Football team has ended their 1998 season with
10 wins and two losses; and,
WHEREAS, this team played 3 games in the Illinois High School Association
playoff and Canton won two of these playoff games; and,
WHEREAS, the 1998 football season has developed a great deal of community
pride and family involvement; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Canton wishes to recognize parents, coaches, staff and
team members for their efforts.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the City of Canton congratulate and thanks all of those who helped make
1998 such a highly successful football season. Well done.
2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by
the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, at a
regular meeting this 17th day of November, 1998.
