BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILI,INOIS :
SEC. l. That Chapter 11 , Sec. 3 of the Revised Ordin.ances
of the City of. Canton, Illinois, 1959 and all amendments thereto
be, and the same is and are here�y amended to read as follows :
"SEC. 3. REGULAR MEETINGS : The Regu.lar Meetings of
the City Council of the City o.f Canton shall k:,e held in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall on the first and third Tuesdays
of each and every month at 6 :30 o 'clock P.M. , except that when
said Tuesday shall be a public holiday or a day upon which shall
be held any general or special election the Council shall meet
�j( on the day following at the same time. Adjourned meetings may
be held for the purpose of completing the unfinished business
of the regular meetin� at such time or times as may be determined
t� the Council, provided, however, that regular reports of Officers
and claims against the City shall be presented at the first
meeting in each month only. "
SEC. 2. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and
after its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
