ORDINANCE N0. � ��_
WHEREAS, the City of Canton, Illinois heretofore made
provisions for salary increases for certain employees ; and,
WHEREAS, it was , at that time the intention of this
City to include the employees, hereinafter named, for increases
of salary but that they were inadvertently omitted ; and,
WHEREAS, Eugene Jenkins and F1oyd Burns are both meter
readers of this City with, respectively, over 17 years and over
4 years of service to this City,
NOW, THER.EFORE, BE IT, AND IT HEREBY IS OR.DAINED by the
City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois ;
That the salary of Eugene Jenkins be, and the same hereby
is, increased from the weekly sum of �123.30 to the weekly sum
of �127.67 ; and,
That the salary of F1oyd Burns be increased fr.om the
weekly sum of �120.10 to the weekly sum of �125.47 ; and,
That such increases in salary be effective as and for
Friday, May 9, 1969.
PASSED by the Mayor and approved by the City Council
this 5th day of August , A.D. 1969.
