ORDINANCE NO. — �, �y
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Canton,
Illinois , after notice and hearing has made its recommendations
in writin that the realty hereinafter described be rezoned
from R-1 �residential) to B-2 (�eneral Business District) ,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it and it hereby is ordained by the
City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois that the realty
described as follows :
That a part of the West Half of the Northwest
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of �ection 25,
Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth
Principal Meridian situated in Fulton County,
Illinois and being more fully described as
beginning at the Southwest corner of said
Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter,
thence North 435.6 feet , thence East 200 feet ,
thence South 435.6 feet , thence West 200 feet
to the point of beginning,
be, and the same hereby is , rezoned from R-1 (Residential) to
B-2 (General Business District) and that "Map B, Zoning Districts
Canton, Illinois and contiguous area"", which has heretofore been
made a part of the zoning ordinances of the City of Canton,
Illinois be modified and marked to reflect the zoning change
herein ordained.
That the City Clerk shall send a copy of this Ordinance
to the Planning and Zoning Commission of said City.
That this Ordinance shall be in effect after its passage
by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
