ORDINANCE N0. 9b,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS :
SECTION 1. That no motor vehicle shall be parked (as defined
by the Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois) on the West side
of North Main Street south of Locust Street for a distance of 170
feet south from the center of the intersection of Main and Locust
Streets.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 256 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That the proper officials of the City shall post
signs informing persons of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. That any person who shall be convicted of a
violation of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be punished
by a fine of not less than �3.00 nor more than �200.00.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in eff ect ten days
after its passage by the City Council, approval by the Mayor and
publication according to 1aw.
