ORDINANCE NO. �-�� ��
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS :
SECTION l. That Section 4 of Article II of Chapter XLII
of the REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, 1959 be
and the same hereby is amended to read as follows :
"SECTION 4. Diagonal Parking. All vehicles shall be parked
diagonally with one front wheel against the curb on the
following designated streets :
On the Public Square ;
On the North side of West Chestnut Street from Main Street
to Avenue A;
On the South side of East Elm Street from Second Avenue
to Fourth Avenue. "�
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in effect ten days after
its passage by the City Council, approval by the Mayor and publication
according to law.
PASSED by the City Council this �- day of March, A.D. 1970.
