ORDINANCE N0._��
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Canton,
Illinois , after notice and hearing has made its recommendations
in writing that the realty hereinafter described be rezoned
from R-2 (one family residential) to R-3 (two family residential) ,
NOW, THEREFORE , be it and it hereby is ordained by the
City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois that the realty
des cribed as follows :
Part of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the North-
east Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 3 in Township 6
North, Range 4 East of the Fourth Principal
Meridian, Fulton County, Illinois , described
as follows :
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said North-
we:st Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section
3, thence South 339 . 7 feet , thence East 20 .0
feet to the place of beginning, from the place
of beginning, running thence East 150 feet , thence
North 80 .0 feet , thence West 150 feet , thence
South along the East edge of the Township Road
80 .0 feet to the place of beginning .
be, and the same hereby is , rezoned from R- 2 (one family
residential) to R- 3 (two family residential) and that "Map B,
�.oning Districts Canton, Illinois and contiguous area" , which
has heretofore been made a part of the zoning ordinances of the
City of Canton, Illinois be modified and marked to reflect the
zoning change herein ordained.
Th at the City Clerk shall send a copy of this Ordinance
to the Planning and Zoning Commission of said City.
That this Ordinance shall be in effect after its p assage
by the City Council and approval by the Mayor .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR
