ORDINANCE N0. -3 � �
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS :
SECTION 1. That each full time employee, official or

officer of the City of Canton, I1linois, shall receive an increase
in his salary or service in the amount of six and one-half per
centum (6 1/2/} of his present wage or salary.
SECTION 2. That each part-time employee of the City of Canton,
Illinois shall receive an increase of six an d one-half per centum
� (6 1/2%) per hour above his present hourly rate of each hour he
performs work for said City.
SECTION 3. The raises or increases in salary or wages herein
provided shall be in eff ect on the first Monday in May, A.D. 1970.
SECTION 4. Eff ective the first Monday in May, A.D. 1970 the
� City of Canton, Illinois shall pay for and on behalf of its employees
all applicable premium incr�ase under the existing group insurance
program which arise by reason of an increase or extension of
coverage presently contemplated between the City of Canton, Illinc�is
and the group insurer.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois
and approved by the Mayor this _��1�-day of April, A.D. 1970.
