BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CDUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GANTON�
ILLIlVOIS:
SECTSON 1. That a stop sign shall be posted at the South-
west corner of Tamarack and South Main Street in the Gity of Canton,
Illinois and, whenever the driver of a vehicle on Tamarack sha11
approach South Main Street he sha11 bring his vehicle to a complete
stop and then pro¢eed with caution when a safe interval occurs.
SECTION 2. That stop signs shall be posted at each of the �
Southeast and Northwest corners of North Tenth Avenue and East
Birch Street in the�•Gity of Canton, I1linois and, whenever the
driver of a vehicle on North Tenth Avenue shall approach East
Birch Street from either direction he sha11 bring his vehicle to
a complete stop and then proceed with caution when a safe interval
occurs.
SEGTI�N 3. That 'tYield" right-of-way signs sha11 be removed
from the Southwest and Northeast corners of North Second Avenue
and East 01ive Street in the City of Canton, I1linois and that
stop signs sha11 be posted at each of the Southwest an d Northeast
corners of North Second Avenue and East Olive Street in the City
of Canton, Illinois and, whenever the "�driver of a vehicle on East
Olive Street shall approach North Second Avenue from either
direction he sha11 bring his vehicle to a complete stop and then
proceed with caution when a safe interval occurs.
SEGTION 4. That a stop sign shall be posted at the South-
east corner of North Avenue C and West Vine Street in the City of
Carrton, I1linois and, whenever the driver of a vehicle proceeding
north of North Avenue G sha11 approach West Vz�e Street he sha11
bring his vehicle to a complete stop and then proceed with caution
when a safe interval occurs.
SECTION 5. Any person found guiilty of a violation of this
Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Five dollars
(�5.00) nor more than Two Hundred dollars (�200.00).
SEGTI4N 6. This Ordinance shall be in effect ten days
after its passage by the City Council, approval by the Mayor and
publication according to law.
