�'HERF,�S, th� �lanning Commi.ssion of �he City of Can�on,
Zlli�nois � aftex notice and hearing, has made its recommenda-
tions in writing that the xealty hereinafter described
be rezoned from R-1 and B-1 to B-Z .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND TT HEREBY IS ORDAINED BY
THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOTS: that
the realty descxibed as follows :
A part of t�he Southeast Quar�.er (SE%) of Section
Twenty-e�.ght (28) Townsh�p Seven (7) North,
Range �our (4) East of the Fourth (4th) Principal
Meridian, described as follows : Commencing at a
point 1981 feet North and 25 feet East of the
Southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter (SE%)
of Section Twenty-eight (28) running thence East
941 feet; thence South 160 fee�, thence West
448. 7 feet , thence South 104 feet , thence West
492 . 3 feet, thence North along the public highway
264 feet to the place of beginning;
be and the same is hereby rezoned from R-1 , one-family
r�sidential, and B-1, business use , to B-2 , business use ,
and that "Map B Zoning Districts , Canton, Illinois , and
Cont�guous Area" which has heretofore been made a part
o£ the Zqning Ordinances of the City of Canton, I1linois ,
be modif�,ed and marked to reflect the zoning change
here ordained.
That the City Clerk shall send a copy of this Ordinance
to the �lanni,ng and Zoning Commission of said City.
That th�s Ordinance sha11 be in effect after its
passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the M�yor
