A RESOLUTION CONCERNING MEDIAN REMOVAL AND PAVEMENT
REPLACEMENT ON LOCUST STREET AND MAIN STREET
WHEREAS, Plans have been completed by Mauer-Stutz, Inc. for the removal of
the medians in the 200 block of North Main Street and the first block of East Locust
Street, east of Main Street, and,
WHEREAS, the plans also provide for pavement replacement following the
median removal, and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary for said plans to be approved by the City of Canton,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, that the plans submitted are hereby
approved. Be it further resolved that the Mayor be authorized to sign approval of said
plans on behalf of the city.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a
regular meeting this 6th day of October, 1998.
