WHEREAS , it appears to the City Council of the City
of Canton, Illi-ois , that the territory hereinafter de-
scribed is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality but is contiguous to the City of Canton ,
Illinois , and
It further appearing to the said City Council that
all the electors residing in said territory hereinafter
described and that the owners of record of all the land
within said territory have requested that it be annexed
to said city and zoned B-2 as shown by the records of this
counci 1.
THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THB CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS :
Section 1. That the territory described as follows :
Twenty (20) acres off of the West side
of the following described land: All
that part of the South one-half of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 15 which
lies East of Illinois Route 78 and West
of the C. B. � Q. Railroad right of way
in Section 15 , Township 7 North, Range
4 East of the 4th Principal Meridian.
be and it is hereby annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois .
Section 2 . That a certified copy of this ordinance
together �rith an accurate map of the territory above de-
scribed shall be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of
Fulton County, I1linois .
Section 3. That this property shall be zoned B-2 .
Section 4. That this Ordinance sha11 be in effect
from and after a majority vote of the City Council of
